Welcome to South West Autism. We are a small Exeter based organisation that specialises in supporting children and young people who are deemed as ‘high functioning’ on the Autistic Spectrum together with associated comorbidities.
We provide a range of services for children, young people and families on the autistic spectrum. We offer advice and guidance for families and the professionals who care for them. We work with children and young people in a variety of environments including schools, colleges, at home, in the community or at our centre. All 1-1 services are bespoke in order to meet the individual needs of the young person.
Our Aims
We believe in providing your amazing young people with opportunities to help them develop to their full potential. Our aim is to empower parents and young people and equip them with necessary life skills to overcome barriers. We understand the challenges that young people and families face. We know from the huge number of families that we have worked with over the years that support and guidance can be difficult to find. Now that you’ve found us, the support you are seeking is within reach. To begin the support process simply contact us via our contact page or by emailing us directly at [email protected].
Our Centre
South West Autism Support Services are based at our centre at 6 Sandpiper Court, Pinhoe, Exeter EX4 8NS. Parent and family support sessions, 1-1 mentoring, tutoring, groups and our alternative education provision are all run at our centre. We have an enormous amount of resources including a sensory room, a music and gaming room, a tutor and homework room, a craft room and a fully equipped kitchen to support life and independence skills.
